Heh.. After hectic weeks preparing for the 2 very important presentation, I finally went out to relax yesterday! Went to Central, hoping to buy something cuz I've the 20% off card from Cleo.. But I bought nothing at all.. Other than some snacks.. haha..

But! Weide and I went to this Japanese restaurant at Liang Court! It's just next to Meidi-Ya Supermarket.

This is what I had. It's 黒豚ラーメン [ Kurobuta Ramen]. It's call Black Pig Ramen in English. Not bad at all! They boil the pig bone for 2 days before serving to customers. Nice! Basically, the ramen has cabbage, bamboo shoot (I like!), and a lot of chilli flakes. I added the egg on my own, and I really likeeeee it! It's call "Tasty Egg". Additional $1.20 for it, but its GOOD. Well, it's not the usual kind of egg. On the outlook, it looks like any usual hard-boil egg, but when you bite into it, it's actually half-boiled inside! The yoke was not fully cooked, still watery (like the kind you've at Kayun.. Just a bit more solidified only. And the egg-white too! It's hard at the rim, but kinda soft at the middle. Cool!!! It's reallly nice!!! It was a pleasant. Got to try it. It's NICEEEEEE~

Weide had this. I forgot the name for the dish. The brick bowl is like super hot, and beneath the stuff, it's Japanese rice. On top, there was actually an raw egg (but Weide broke it before I can take a pic of it!), a layer of cheese (the light yellow stuff). There's beef cubes along with carrot cubes. What you've to do is stir your rice and do a good mix with the cheese and egg. Thereafter, you can eat. It's yummylicious! The rice is sticky, and they are pretty generous with the cheese. Good! =D
Our dessert~! A small bowl of 緑茶アイスクリーム [Green Tea Ice Cream], with red bean paste.
The ice cream is quite nice too. It's very rich, and it doesn't really melt. You know! Those Japanese ice cream that don't really melt~ It's kinda like that. Nice~

I bought the following snacks at this mini Japanese supermarket in Central. It only have snacks. Not those domestic stuff like those vegetables etc.

This is 銅鑼焼き [dorayaki]. Also known as 铜锣烧 in Chinese. You know! Those cakes that Doraemon likes a lot! Heh.. I like a lot too. It's a kind of Japanese cake with red bean paste inside, in case you are wondering! It's quite nice, and its cheaper at this supermarket than at Meidi-Ya. There's a lot of filling. There's no need for us to heat it up before eating! Heh.. It's $7.90 for 6 in a pack. Go try it!
Oh! I bought this too! It's a mushroom soup base! Looks good. Gonna try it soon. Will let you all know if its gooood~ Heh.. There's clam chower base too!! Wanna try!! It's $4.50 for 3 packs in a box. =)

Yes.. Other than SNACKS, I didn't manage to buy much from Central. SAD..

Let Central and head down to Bugis where Weide bought the tickets to "一支独秀"! Heh.. And I'm kinda glad that I still can get the tickets for Jay Chou's concert!!!!!! WeEez~

Went back to Jurong Point to get this:

I pre-ordered Jay Chou's CD!!!! WeEez~ I'm really lucky cuz I didn't pre-order even till the very last day (1 Nov). His CD was scheduled to release yesterday, but it was delayed! Hence, I went to the counter to ask if I can still pre-order, and the person said YES! WeEz!!! And I got the Jay Chou 2008 calendar!!! WoOo HooOo~

Nice isn't it! Heh... HAPPY~~~~~ It's a fruitful (food-ful) day afterallll~~~~~~~
